The best way to review this product for me is to compare it to other beard comb materials I've used. Those would be wood, plastic, and metal. This is better than any of those BY FAR.
Do not use a metal comb for your beard! I bought a metal comb from Amazon and it was well constructed, sturdy and came in a leather sheath. The only problem is it truly left my face hurting after a combing. It made a pinging sound accompanied by a small but annoying amount of pain with every snag in my beard in my morning comb.
Next is the unbreakable comb you can get at Walmart or anywhere really for less than a dollar. They are OK and work but yet still have more trouble than this comb with the inevitable snags in your beard.
This Eberbart comb blows those other two options out of the water. It probably has something to do with the geometry of the comb and not just the material but it goes through snags with zero pain and leaves my beard softer than ever before. The leather sheath is really nifty and is well constructed too.
I personally love the smell of this comb and it does leave the pine-like scent in my beard after a thorough combing but I like it. Other may not but I do. Course teeth or fine this is a great comb for anyone who has a longer beard and they wanna take care of it well.
