Smart & Easy Lens Kit

Smart & Easy Lens Kit

Have you ever wanted to take a really cool picture because you are living in a really awesome moment but your phone camera isn't enough?  Well my friend, do I have some good news for you. Introducing the Smart & Easy Lens Kit. It's a three pack of lens that covers your wide angles to close up shots for a low cost. Not to mention, they're small which makes it great to store while you're traveling like in your bag... or if you're anything like me, make your girlfriend hold them in her purse because you like being hands-free!

I have a few minor gripes... But for the price I paid, I can't complain.

PROS
  • Build quality feels pretty good, the lens is mostly plastic but it is sturdy enough to house the quality glass.
  • Lens quality also seems pretty good, the glass is better than I expected. It 's clear and looks great.
  • This macro lens excels at super close up images. You can put an object almost directly up to the lens and it will focus... You can't do that with your phone on its own.

CONS
  • The clip doesn't allow the lens to always sit on your camera perfectly. You will notice vignetting around the corners at times and have to make adjustments. It does not appear to have a big negative impact on image quality, however.
  • The Clip honestly is way bigger than it needs to be. I wish it was a slimmer form factor design. However, the design does make it really easy to clip on fast but then you have to wiggle it into position.

MACRO LENS
  • I WOULD BUY THIS PACK LITERALLY JUST TO BUY THIS LENS. It is just super cool. To whip this baby out and get super close up detailed photos of anything. ONLY con is it freaked out my dog when I tried to get a picture of her eye. (Crazy Humans)

Wide Angle Lens
  • It does give you a nice wide angle picture. The iPhone already has a decent wide angle to it but this adds a little bump to that. I found it works a lot better to use this lens without a phone case creating separation between your lens and camera.

Fish Eye Lens
  • It is a fisheye, if you are into the sort of thing then it is alright. Personally, I don't like fisheyes. I don't even like them on my DSLR. I have yet to use one and like it.

COMMENTS:
I've messed around with the lens a bit, and it seems pretty sweet. You can probably get higher quality if you spend significantly more, but this will certainly be as good, if not better, than what most people need. I like it. It is capable. It does what it is supposed to do, at a low cost. The few complaints I have are not enough to make me regret the purchase.
